Policy
Communication Policy
When a new family joins our daycare, we prioritize open communication about any concerns or questions. It's essential to align our daycare philosophy with that of the parents. We encourage questions, feedback, and discussions aimed at positive outcomes for the child(ren). Sensitive matters will be addressed privately at a convenient time for both parties.
Food Policy
We provide fresh, healthy meals daily with a rotating vegetarian menu.
Our offerings include breakfast, lunch, two snacks, and milk. Please supply any specific dietary needs or milk preferences daily, and inform us of allergies or special requirements.
Drop-off and Pick-up Policy
It's normal for children to cry during drop-of Keep drop-offs brief; the longer you linger, the harder it gets. A smile, a cheerful kiss, and a reassuring word that you’ll return are all that’s needed. Most children quickly engage in play after parents leave.
During drop-offs and pick-ups, we expect children to follow our rules. Please keep control of your child during pick-up
Withdraw
To withdraw your child from Awesomkidzz Daycare, a 30-day notice is required. You are responsible for all final payments during this notice period, regardless of attendanc.
Termination Policy
Sometimes, a child may struggle to adapt to daycare or follow behavior rules. We will work with you to resolve the issue. If disruptive behavior continues, we may ask you to withdraw your child from daycare.
Fees and Payment Arrangements
The fee is based on enrollment, not attendance. A non-refundable registration fee secures your child's spot in our childcare. Payment is due on the 1st of each month for the following month. For instance, pay on June 1st for June. If your child will be absent due to illness or vacation, please inform me in advance. Tuition is still due; no discounts for absences are provided as you pay for the spot, not the days. Failure to pay will result in termination of your child's spot.
Toilet Training
We happily support potty training when the child is ready (usually between 2 and 3 years old). The process should begin at home for at least two weeks with success before starting at daycare. Parents must provide pull-ups and wipes. Children may wear cotton training pants/underwear at daycare after being accident-free in pull-ups for two weeks. Clear communication between parents and daycare is essential for a smooth transition from diapers to toilets.
Illness
Children need to be kept home when they have any of the following symptoms:
fever, diarrhea, vomiting, conjunctivitis (pink eye) or discharge from eyes, severe coughing, skin rash of unknown diagnosis, difficult or rapid breathing, or nits on hair from head lice.
If a symptom of an illness manifests while a child is at the program, the parent or guardian will be contacted immediately and the child will be cared for away from other children while waiting to be picked up by parent/guardian.
